Our Youth Group is for 7th - 12th grade students. On Sunday mornings, our high school Youth meet for Sunday School led by Pastor Reggie, and the 7th and 8th grade Youth meet for separate boys and girls classes. On Sunday evenings, the 7th - 12th grade boys and girls meet separately to study God's Word and the whole Youth Group comes together on Wednesday evening to study the Bible, share a meal together, and pray.

Our team of Youth Leaders, teach from Bible centered curriculum and partner with our congregation to disciple our Youth. As with all of our ministries, we believe the focus of the Youth Group should be the Bible - understanding what God's Word tells us, and how we are to apply it.

The Youth Group has all sorts of events and outings throughout the year, ranging from in-home fellowships and missions projects to all-night events, community work days, and visits to amusement parks.  These experiences offer value as the youth build relationships with one another and their leaders who are praying hard for them as they grow, but the true value of their time together is shown in their growing understanding of God's Word, and their successes in applying it to their lives.

YOUTH SOCK EXCHANGE

Step 1: get a NEW pair of fun socks – The bigger and crazier the better!

Step 2: Stuff them with treats, gifts, - Be as creative as you want… Chapstick, Candy bars,
Bowling ball…. Anything that would be fun if you were opening them. These are gifts, not
                pranks…(please not live animals)

Step 3: Tie them at the top so we can’t see inside

Step 4: Wrap them up in paper so that we can’t even see the socks themselves

NOTE: do not add a name!  No “from”, No “to”. There are no spending restrictions.

All the wrapped socks will be placed together and we will choose, unwrap, and exchange the socks as a game until everyone has one.

Sport your new pair of socks Sunday Morning on the 14th… It’s a tradition!

See Nathan with questions.
