Steve Whalen
Steve has lived in New Paris most of his life. He came to FBCNP as a teenager and trusted Jesus as his Savior and Lord. He sensed God’s call into pastoral ministry and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible & History from Cedarville College in 1995. He joined the FBCNP staff in 1998, where he has served children, youth, and adults in pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Julie, have two daughters.
Steve is the full-time pastor at FBCNP, and is available for prayer, counsel, and service. He loves to teach the Word of God and regularly teaches adult Sunday School and a children’s Bible study on Sunday and Wednesday nights.

Reggie Osborne II
Reggie was ordained in 2012 and became the Preaching Pastor of our church in 2013. He holds a Bachelors of Science from Liberty University and has been actively teaching in the church since 1999. He and his wife, Allison, are both from New Paris, Ohio, where they currently live with their five children: Halle, Ashlynne, Jocelyn, Reggie III, and Evelyn.

Justin C. Murphy
Justin was born and raised in New Paris, attending FBCNP most of his life. He has been a pastor here since 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Cumberland College and has been involved in ministry for 20 years. Prior to moving back to New Paris in 2002, he had served churches in New Carlisle and Medway, Ohio.
Seeing God’s plan of redemption in the whole of Scripture is the passion of his calling. Justin serves the local church teaching the Word of God to children and adults. He also leads a campground and nursing home ministry.

Nathan Osborne
Nathan was ordained in 2012. He studied music at Indiana University and has led our church in worship since 2010. Both he and his wife Sarah grew up in New Paris Ohio and live in neighboring Richmond, IN with their five children Joshua, Jeremiah, Jacob, Adelyn and Jonathan.
Nathan leads our Choir and Youth ministries. He teaches Sunday School as well as Youth Bible Study on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Nathan enjoys writing music, spending time with His family, and fellowship with God’s people.
